9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

8 These included a group of giants, sometimes we as Christians face giants.
9 Joshua knew that God could lead them to overcome these giants. Joshua was going to do what he was called to do and lead, where are we being lead, to be defeated by the giants or to run or better yet for God to defeat our giants.
