Exodus 18:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
Exodus 18:13-14 New Century Version (NCV)
13 The next day Moses solved disagreements among the people, and the people stood around him from morning until night. 14 When Moses’ father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he asked, “What is all this you are doing for the people? Why are you the only one to solve disagreements? All the people are standing around you from morning until night!”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
13 So Moses works the people thru their problems, this shows why he was chosen to be leader because he is willing to put the time in with the people and great leaders put time in with the people they lead.
14 Moses had taken on much and often times we put so much on church leaders but there are others set up for this purpose and now this was going to be the case with Moses.
