Exodus 18:17-18 King James Version (KJV)
17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.
Exodus 18:17-18 New Century Version (NCV)
17 Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “You are not doing this right. 18 You and the people who come to you will get too tired. This is too much work for you; you can’t do it by yourself.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
17 Sometimes we need people in our life that can tell us what we are doing wrong and help us see what to do right, we may have people who say this in our life who are wrong so we need to be able to discern between good and bad advice and always seek the Lord’s will.
18 Moses was doing much more then any man could do, today we take our burdens to the Lord and sometimes He will send people to help us but He is the one who carries our burdens. We aren’t even able at times to carry our own burdens but often times we try to be like Moses taking on everyone else’s burdens.
